THIS is where roadworks in the area are expected to be carried out throughout the weekend.

As always, the work is weather dependent so could be cancelled last minute.

Reading

  • Eversley Road Eversley Road will be closed until December 11 to allow Gigaclear contractors to undertake BDUK Superfast Broadband work in safety
  • Randolph Road SGN works will be taking place until December 11, so delays and closures may be likely
  • Sidmouth Street A lane closure will be in place for roadworks at Sidmouth Street. This is for the implementation of a temporary Covid-19 scheme to assist with social distancing and active travel. A one-way restriction (northbound) will be in place, with a two-way cycle lane created in the segregated southbound traffic lane.
  • Arbor Lane, Winnersh Works will be taking place until December 9, so roadworks will be likely

Bracknell/Wokingham

  • Nine Mile Ride Nine Mile Ride will be closed from Monday, December 7, for five days between Bagshot Road and Crowthorne Road (A3095) from 9am until 4pm each day. This is for multiple parties to complete urgent work including drainage repairs in preparation for the winter.
  • Langborough Road Diversion route in place until December 16: A321, Wokingham 3.2 km
  • Biggs Lane Roadworks will be in place to allow power on connections contractors to undertake the excavation and laying of HV cables in safety
  • Longwater Road Road closure on December 7 for roadworks
  • Langborough Road Thames Water emergency works will be taking place until December 16, the road will remain closed until this time
  • Ryehurst Lane Gigaclear will be carrying out works until December 6. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
