Electricity expected to return to homes by 2pm as power cut affects areas
SEVERAL homes in Reading are currently without power following an outage.
Homes in Padworth have been affected by power cuts which happened at different times this morning (December 4).
Scottish and Southern Electric reported (SSE) reported that 34 areas within RG7 were without power as of 10.45am.
The company said homes should have power again at 5pm.
SSE said: "We’re sorry for the loss of supply. We currently have a fault affecting the areas listed.
"Our engineers are on site working hard to get the power back on as quickly as they can. If you need more information, please call us on 105."
