Thames Valley Police Reading confirmed through their Twitter page that following a number of fires in Emmer Green and Caversham, the North Reading Neighbourhood Policing Team will be increasing patrols in the area.

In a brief tweet that was published on December 3, they said: “Following reports of fires being started in local parks in Emmer Green and Caversham the North Reading Neighbourhood Policing Team will be increasing patrols in the area, working with local schools via the Schools Liaison Officer and Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service.”
