PERFUME, sunglasses and TVs are just a handful of items that have been stolen by thieves across Reading in the past two weeks.

Here is a round up of police alerts issued to the public in the past two weeks.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) explained an unknown offender entered a property in Liverpool Road and stole a TV, Playstation, clothing, perfume and money.

Police believe the thief entered the home through an unlocked front door.

It happened overnight between 11pm on Saturday, November 21, and 2am the next day (reference 43200388392).

A thief also entered a home on Coventry Road, possibly through the letterbox, and stole a TV and drill.

The force said it happened between Sunday, November 15, and Monday, November 23(reference 43200390297).

In Thatcham, a thief stolen various power tools from a property in Crookham Hill.

It happened between 8pm on November 24 and 11pm on November 26 (reference 43200397520).

In East Reading in Christchurch Gardens a shed's padlock was broken and garden equipment was stolen.

It happened between Friday, November 20, and Sunday, November 29 (reference 43200400426).

Vehicles have also been targeted by thieves.

Police said a Neco motorcycle was stolen in Oxford Road, Tilehurst, between 7.30am and 3pm on November 24.

The bike is red and white with green stripes (reference 43200392384).

Two pairs of sunglasses were also stolen from a vehicle in Ormonde Gardens.

This happened between 12am and 7.30am on November 30 (reference 43200401332).

The window of a Nissan Qashqai was smashed by an offender in Cowslip Crescent on November 29 (reference 43200400217).

In Theale, a Nissan X Trail was smashed by an offender in Bath Road on November 26 (reference 43200395880).
