ROADWORKS are the bane of drivers' lives so to help you avoid them we have put together a list of works that are taking place in Reading and the surrounding areas this weekend which are likely to cause delays.

IDR Inner Relief Road

A lane will be closed until December 4 at 6pm.

This is so repair works can take place and overhanging vegetation can be cleared.

Queens Road

A lane will be closed until December 4 outside Royal Heights.

Elgar Road South

This road will be closed from November 30 at 9pm until December 3 at 5am.

Bath Road

A lane on Bath Road will be closed from November 30 until December 1 whilst Thames Water carry out works.

Crockhamwell Road, Woodley

This road will be closed until December 1.

London Road, Earley

A lane will be closed until December 4.

Station Road, Theale, West Berkshire

There will be a traffic control system in place until December 17 on Railway Bridge.

Hermits Hill, Burghfield Common, West Berkshire

A traffic control system will be in place from November 30 until December 1.

Bath Road, Calcot

A lane will be closed on Bath Road, Calcot, until December 4.
