FOUR men have been charged after £4,800 worth of tools were stolen from two cars in Bracknell and Reading.
John McDonagh, 27, of Featherstone Road, Southall; Michael McDonagh, 23, of Lyndhurst Road, Tilehurst; Patrick McDonagh, 21, of Uxbridge Road, Hayes and Gerrard Ward, 22 of the Meadway, Tilehurst were charged on Friday, November 20.

They were all charged with two counts of theft from a motor vehicle and one count of going equipped for theft.
The charges are in connection with two incidents.
The first involved a van being broken into in the car park of the Coppid Beech Hotel in Bracknell on Wednesday (November 18) and £3,000 worth of tools being stolen.

The second incident occurred outside Serco in Portman Road, Reading, where a van was broken into and about £1,800 worth of tools were stolen.
All four men were remanded in custody and appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (21/11).
Thames Valley Police is conducting ongoing operations in the area which are aimed at combatting offenders who attempt to steal from vehicles.
