LAST week, some readers said Christmas had come early for them this year, as they began putting up decorations to brighten up what has been a dark year.
The town has also stepped into the festive spirit now, with Christmas lights, decorations and a big tree placed in the town centre.

The Oracle may have fallen quiet at the moment as the country enters the third week of the second lockdown, but that hasn't stopped the town from embracing some Christmas spirit for passers by and those buying essentials, with decorations filling the streets.
Next to one set of Christmas lights is a sign reading: "Thank you NHS and our key workers."
