PARTS of South Western Railway's (SWR) train lines will be closed this weekend.

The lines between Ascot and Reading will be closed all day on Sunday (November 15) for maintenance work.

This includes the following stations: Ascot, Martins Heron, Bracknell, Wokingham, Winnersh, Winnersh Triangle, Earley and Reading.

SWR said a revised service will run between London Waterloo and Ascot.

Buses will also run between Ascot and Reading.

SWR added: "Great Western Railway services will also be affected."

Great Western Railway (GWR) explained from 9.45pm on Saturday (November 14) until 1pm on Sunday (November 15) trains between London Paddington and Reading will have journey times amended.

It said: "Some local trains will start from/terminate at Slough instead of London Paddington."

On Sunday, buses will replace trains between Reading and Guildford.
