READING is not short of eateries all of kinds - from the Oracle Riverside sit-down restaurants to the many take-away options lining the streets.

To help you with that decision, we have rounded up a few of the latest food hygiene ratings in the town, with the five highest and five lowest scorers.

These include restaurants, cafes and kiosks.

Every establishment which deals with the handling of food is rated by food hygiene inspectors employed by the council.

They are given an overall score as well as three separate rankings based on food hygiene and safety, structural compliance and confidence in management.
