SOME roads across Reading, Bracknell and Wokingham remain closed today due to works.

In Bracknell, a lane has today (October 22) been closed on the A322 Downshire Way, both ways between the A329 Berkshire Way (Twin Bridges Roundabout) and A3095 Bagshot Road (Horse And Groom Roundabout).

This is due to a widening scheme taking place.

Barkham Road in Wokingham remains closed for the third day running, both ways between The Train Station and Molly Millars Lane.

Repairs following a burst water main have been taking place since Tuesday.

The A321 Finchampstead Road in Chapel Green is also clsoed.

Telecoms work and temporary traffic lights are in place on the A321 Finchampstead Road around B3016 (The Throat / Handpost Corner).

This is expected to continue until November 10.

Christchurch Gardens in Reading is also closed both ways closed due to water main work between B3031 Basingstoke Road and Northumberland Avenue.

It is due to be closed until tomorrow (October 23).

Reading Buses service 5 is being diverted.

A4 road works are affecting Bath Road in Padworth.

Telecoms work and temporary traffic lights on A4 Bath Road at A340 Basingstoke Road are expected to continue until October 30.

Peppard Road in Emmer Green is being affected by similar work in the B481 area.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place on B481 Peppard Road at Kidmore End Road until tomorrow (October 23).

A lane in Three Mile Cross is also closed today due to roadworks on A33 at Basingstoke Road. 

Lower Earley Way in North Sindlesham has a lane closed due to roadworks up towards Rushey Way. 

In Hurst, gas main work and temporary traffic lights on B3018 at Hinton Road are expected until October 26.

Wargrave High Street is also being affected, with water main work and temporary traffic lights on A321 High Street near The St George and Dragon in place until tomorrow.
