The following cases appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

October 2:

SAJID HUSSAIN, 41, of Gainsborough Road, Reading, admitted criminal damage to wing mirrors worth £300 in Reading on November 18, 2019. Made subject to a restraining order. Fined £40. Also ordered to pay £300 compensation. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

TORIQ MAHMOOD, 34, of Cumberland Road, Reading, admitted possession of class B drug cannabis in Reading on November 9, 2018. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and must pay £85 court costs.

SHAUN STEVENS, 50, of The Green, Newbury, admitted selling a nicotine inhaling product - a strawberry flavour vape liquid - to a person under the age of 18. Fined £50. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and must pay £100 court costs.

JAWAHER ALMUHIM, of Kings Road, Reading, convicted of throwing, dropping, or otherwise depositing rubbish in the vicinity of Crane Wharf, Reading, on or before February 7, 2020. Fined £210. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and must pay £400 court costs.

ELENA FLORICEL, of Blenheim Road, Reading, convicted of throwing, dropping, or otherwise depositing rubbish in the vicinity of Oxford Road, Reading, on or before January 28, 2020. Fined £210. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £400 court costs.

SYDNEY BROWN, of Ragley Mews, Caversham, convicted of throwing, dropping, or otherwise depositing rubbish in the vicinity of Eskin Close Parking Bays, Reading, on or before November 19, 2019. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £400 court costs.

SUE TAYLOR, Omers Rise, Reading, admitted of throwing, dropping, or otherwise depositing rubbish in the vicinity of the bottle banks in Kensington Road, Reading, on or before December 9, 2019. Fined £110. Als ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £200 court costs.

MEGAN HODDER, of Poole Close, Reading, convicted of being the person in whose name an uninsured vehicle was registered to on October 29, 2019. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £200 court costs.

October 6:

TREVOR SAMUELS, 47, of Havergate Way, Reading, admitted speeding on the A30 Dunhever Bridge, Launceston, in the 50mph, 60mph, and 70mph sections, on December 31, 2019. No disqualification due to being key worker who depends on car. Fined £160. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £60 court costs. Three points added to driving licence.
Imran Mohammed, 20, of Liverpool Road, Reading, admitted drug-driving in London Road, Reading, on February 26, 2020. Found to have cannabis in his blood. Also admitted possession of class B drug cannabis in Reading on February 26, 2020. Fined £160. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ADAM PLAYLE, 30, of Oatlands Road, Reading, admitted assault by beating in Reading on February 14, 2020. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation requirements and must undertake 60 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £100 compensation. Must also pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

MARVIN LEWIS, 37, of Florian Gardens, Reading, admitted using a vehicle without the correct insurance in Kearsley Road, Reading, on October 5, 2020. Fined £40. Six points added to driving licence.

CHARLIE RAWLINGS, 19, of Northumberland Avenue, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Long Barn Lane, Reading, on July 17, 2020. Found to have 73mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £36. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 20 months.
