OXFORD Road residents are being warned about a spate of recent burglaries in the neighbourhood.

On Saturday (October 10) at around 11am, an unknown offender forced open front door and stole a wallet as well as clothing.

Some time between Friday night and Saturday (October 9/10), an offender gained entry to a home in Ormsby Street via a second floor window, stealing jewellery and a jewellery box.

On Friday (October 9) between 9am and 10.30pm in Oxford Road, an offender entered a home via an insecure window before stealing a laptop and mobile phone.

Officers are asking residents to report any suspicious incidents, sightings or information to Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

The force is also urging people to check their Ringcam, Dashcam or CCTV Cameras.
