A MAN who was caught with a lock knife days before Christmas will work 150 hours for free. 

Aaron David Franklin, of Street from Somerton to Airfield, had the weapon on Fringford Road on December 21 last year.

He was sentenced to the community order at Oxford Magistrates' Court on September 3.

He must complete the unpaid work in the next 12 months.

He must also pay a victim surcharge of £90.
