WEST Berkshire green recycling permits with an expiry date of September 30, 2020, are still valid at the council's recycling centres in Padworth and Newbury.

Residents do not need to order a new permit as the green permits will continue to be accepted until further notice.

The council said permits need to be displayed to allow entry into the recycling centres.

Those that have lost their permit or just moved to the district can apply for a recycling centre permit online at www.westberks.gov.uk/applyHWRCpermit.

Terms and conditions for other site permits, including commercial type vehicle permits, temporary permit and Hampshire permits remain the same at the recycling centres.

The centre's can be visited by appointment only which can be booked at www.westberks.gov.uk/clickandtip.

Recycling centres are open 9am – 6pm, seven days a week.

The council is asking people to check its website for any site restrictions before your visit.
