A SERIOUS motorbike crash in Reading has led to police seeking witnesses.

The crash took place by the Cunning Man Bridge on Burghfield Road, Reading, on October 1, around 3pm.

A blue Yamaha motorcycle and a blue Ford Fiesta car collided, and the motorcyclist, a man in his forties, received serious injures.

He currently remains in hospital for medial treatment.

Investigating officer PC Alex Holmes, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses who saw this happen or anyone who has information to come forward.

“I would also urge drivers who were in the local area around the time the incident happened to check dash-cam footage in case it captured anything significant.
