A Man has been arrested following a public order offence in Tilehurst, which caused an Air Ambulance to arrive on the scene at the time.

The incident took place in Mayfair, Tilehurst, last Wednesday morning, at around 9am, where a man in his sixties was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.

Thames Valley Air Ambulance confirmed they attended the scene at the time.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: "Thames Valley Police attended Mayfair, in Tilehurst at around 9.15am on Wednesday, September 23.

"It followed a report that a public order incident had taken place.

"A 63-year-old man from Tilehurst has been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence, and released on police bail until 20 October."
