A WOMAN in her sixties is in a "critical condition" in hospital having been involved in a crash in Henley.

Thames Valley Police said at 2.05pm on Monday, September 21, there was a crash involving a red MG ZS car and a cyclist, on the A4155 Reading Road, near to the junction of Mill Lane.

The force said: "The cyclist, a woman in her sixties, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition."

Police are now appealing for witnesses.

Investigating officer, PC Chris Weatherley, of the Roads Policing Unit, added: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident, during which a cyclist sustained serious injuries requiring hospital treatment.

“If anyone who was also in the area saw this incident taking place, or has any information, please come forward if you can help.
