READING'S Town Meal is just around the corner and organisers have revealed the event will be broadcast live on the radio.
RG2 radio will be broadcasting the event live from Reading College for everyone to tune into at 12pm until 2.30pm on Saturday, October 3.

People can enjoy the day from the comfort of their own home and take part in the town meal quiz and crossword.
Exclusive town meal inspired recipe cards and activity packs will also be delivered direct to your doorstep when you sign up.
As part of the live broadcast, RG2 radio is seeking local growers, food fanatics and local residents to get involved.

There will also be a stall selling surplus fruit and vegetables between 11am and 4pm on Saturday, September 26, Sunday, September 27, Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3.
Online workshops will also be taking place including ones focusing on how to tackle food waste.
