THE following cases appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court.

September 7:

TOMASZ SRAMA, 38, of Denman Drive, Newbury, admitted possession of cannabis in Newbury on July 21, 2019. Fined £80. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed. 

BENJAMIN TIPPER, 31, of Montague Street, Caversham, admitted possession of cannabis in Reading on October 11, 2019. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CHRISTIAN KELLY, 37, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted failing to surrender to Reading Magistrates Court on August 24. Fined £10. Also ordered to pay £30.

CHRISTOPHER BROWN, 32, of Bodmin Close, Thatcham, admitted failing to comply to a community order by failing to attend an appointment on March 7, 2019, and also failing to attend unpaid work appointments on February 8, February 29, and March 7. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay £60 costs. 

SIMON DOMINEY, 47, of Ressel Street, Reading, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following release from a post sentence detention by failing to attend appointments on February 14, February 21, and February 28. Fined £40. 

KANE WOOTEN, 24, of Wenlock Edge, Charvil, admitted failing to comply with a community order made in Reading Magistrates Court by failing to attend unpaid work appointments on February 16 and February 9. Community order extended. Also ordered to pay £60 costs. 

THOMAS LATIMER, 32, of Gainsborough, Southcote, admitted failing to comply with supervision requirements following a release from imprisonment by failing to keep in contact on May 18, May 29, June 26, and July 3. Fined £30. Also ordered to pay £30 costs.

September 8:

KURT LANCASTER, 21, of Oxford Road, Tilehurst, admitted being found in an enclosed premises for an unlawful purpose, namely theft in Sonning on April 14. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates Court on August 21. Also admitted commission for a further offence of drunk and disorderly behaviour at Reading Station on September 4, 2019, which was conditionally discharged. Also commissioned for a further offence of failing to surrender to custody at Reading Magistrates Court on August 22, 2019. Committed to prison for 8 weeks total suspended for 9 months. Electronic monitoring curfew requirement for 8 weeks. Ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. 

NATHANIEL WALKER, 35, of The Crescent, Theale, admitted drug driving on Basingstoke Road, Reading, on October 31, 2019. Found to have 3.2 mcg cannabis per litre of blood. Fined £225. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 15 months. 

ROBERT WIGGINS, 46, of Heroes Walk, Reading, admitted voyeurism by recording a private act in Reading on January 10, 2019. Committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 2 years, due to severity of offence. Rehabilitation activity requirement made. Sexual harm prevention order made on conviction until September 2027. Also ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Phone to be seized and destroyed. 

SHAHZAD AFZAL, 40, of Brunswick Street, Reading, convicted of assault by beating in Reading on July 17. Also admitted possession of cannabis in Reading on July 17. Committed to prison for 14 weeks, due to severity of offence and due to previous offending. Ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge. Cannabis to be forfeited and destroyed.
