ALCOHOL and a playstation are two of the items that have been stolen by thieves in Reading this week.

Across lockdown police officers have continued to respond to incidents in the area including multiple thefts.

We have created a crime round-up looking at three Thames Valley Police (TVP) alerts issued in Reading and the surrounding areas from the past week.

The force explained a thief broke into a house in Marlborough Avenue and stole alcohol (reference 43200286711).

It is thought to have happened overnight between Friday, September 11, and Saturday, September 12, between 11pm and 5am.

In Caversham, a thief entered a home in Priory Avenue and stole a mobile phone, TV and playstation (reference 43200284741).

Police said it happened on Friday, September 11, between 5am and 6am.

A handbag has also be stolen from a house in Russell Street (reference 43200286883).

The force said a thief entered the property through an insecure window.

Police are asking people to report any suspicious incidents, sightings or information to the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.

People are also being urged to check CCTV cameras, Ringcam or Dashcam.
