A NEW dermatology clinic is opening in Reading next month.

Derma is an independent clinic offering people various medical and cosmetic treatments.

The private clinic is located at East Reading Retail Centre in Shepherd's Hill and used to be a Frankie and Benny's restaurant.

The clinic is due to open on October 1 and will be consultant led.

Husband and wife Jon (director) and Rima Clayton (consultant dermatologist) have spent the last three years designing and developing Derma.

Derma's website explains: "Our dermatologists and nurses are highly qualified in the analysis and treatment of skin, hair and nails, and we pride ourselves on offering the very best in patient care, for patients of all ages."

Treatments on offer include anti-wrinkle injections, mole removals and freezing of warts.

The clinic also offers help to people with inflammatory skin conditions such as acne, eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.

Derma explains patients can be referred or can book a consultation for private medical treatment themselves.
