Rated a top score on TripAdvisor, Gurkha Restaurant is located in Clewer Hill Road, Windsor.

Every review left recently doesn't have a bad word to say about this restaurant.

One written only yesterday (September 12), said: "The food is fantastic, the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

"I highly recommend this place, I will most definitely be visiting more often."

Another, which shows the popularity of the restaurant, reads: "Advisable to book this, it was recommended by the B&B we were staying in, we just managed to get a table.

"The food was amazing, very tasty, plentiful, a good portion. We were glad of the walk back.

"The price of the food was very reasonable for the quality of it

2. Spice Master, Reading (5/5*)

One reviewer said: "A regular dinner stop for us.

9. Miah's - Garden of Gulab, Reading (4/5*)

Another Reading restaurant, Miah's has also scored a near perfect rating on TripAdvisor.

One glowing review reads: "We were warmly greeted, and asked for our contact details for the track and trace, there was also sanitisers for our hands.

"We were then guided and seated at a lovely table near the window.

"We are both vegans and there was lots of choices on the menu, it took a while to decide what we wanted.

"There is a lovely atmosphere, and our food came quickly, once we had completed the lovely poppadums' that we had as a starter.

"The food was really well presented, and the portions are very generous.

"The taste was amazing, and so filling, that we could not finish it all, and had to have containers to take some home.

"I have often passed this restaurant, but never realised that inside would be so wonderful, with such great food. This will now be my go to restaurant for Indian cuisine."

It has been described as a "hidden gem".

The reviewer also said: "Went here with the family yesterday 30th August, what a great place.

"The family who run it are so friendly and the food was out of this world!!

"We had the Nepalese Street foods which was flavourful and completely different to your average curry and Chinese food.

"Highly recommended you will not be disappointed."
