Instead, a visual display of the history and heritage, that would normally be on exhibition, has been presented on the Town Hall notice board facing the Market Place.

Information on display includes photographs of the Civic Staircase and the Mayor’s Parlour, detailed history of the Town Hall portraits, civic regalia and the heritage of the building dating back to the original municipal building in 1611.

An online quiz has also been created where you can test your knowledge and learn about the history of the Town Hall.
