THIS year's Turn Tilehurst Red event will run as a competition only, organisers have announced.
Kate Taylor, organiser and founder of the group Turn Tilehurst Red for Remembrance Sunday, took to Facebook to reveal how this year's event will run.

In the post she wrote: "Turn Tilehurst Red 2020, will this year run as a competition only.
"We want as many people to decorate to show their support not only for those that lost their life during a war, but also those who have lost their lives this year doing their job.
"We want to say Thanks for those that put their lives at risk to help us."
She continued: "We are asking everyone to fly the poppy and flag.
"Any flag England, Union Jack, NHS or your own countries flag.
"We want to cover the whole of Tilehurst with colour.
"So decorate your window, shop, house or street and enter the competition."
The event will run from November 1 until November 11, 2020, with entries to the competition to be in by November 4.
Winners will then be announced on November 11.

The five categories include: Best House, Best School/Nursery, Best Shop/Business, Best Group - uniformed, football, dance group and Best Street.
Ms Taylor also thanked sponsors Village Properties and Teescroft Electrical Services for supporting the event.
