Reading will host Luton Town in the next round of the Carabao Cup, with the winners of the tie set for a showdown with Manchester United in the third round.
Reading booked their place in the second round with a win over Colchester United on Saturday afternoon.
The second round game against Luton Town will take place on the week commencing September 14.
The third round will take place the following week, should Reading advance.
