RAILWAY passengers are being warned of disruption in and out of Reading Station as all lines are blocked.
South Western Railways is reporting issues between Reading and Wokingham due to an axel counter failure.
The rail firm statement said: "We have been informed that there is an axle counter failure on the approach to Reading Station. This means that all lines are currently blocked in and out of Reading.
"We have requested replacement road transport, we will update message with further details once confirmed.
"For further information or onward travel advice please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
The disruption is expected to cause a number of delays, and the latest update from the train provider is that it is expected to last until 10pm.

Following an earlier signalling problem between Wokingham and Reading all lines have now reopened.
Train services running through these stations may be cancelled, delayed, or revised.
