River Thames in Scours Lane police incident.
POLICE have closed off a path running along the River Thames in Reading.
A number of police officers have been spotted at the scene near Scours Lane this afternoon.
There is also forensics team on site who appear to be searching a boat although police have not confirmed this.

The force has taped off the area at the end of Scours Lane turning right on to Thames Path.
Locals are reporting that police arrived at some point around 4am.

It is not yet known what has happened.
Thames Valley police has been contacted for comment.
