A FREE, live interactive singing session is being delivered to the public today (August 14) online where participants will be able to learn to sign 'This is Me'.

The session will be led by local Rock Choir leader Lucy Vickers, who looks after the Choirs in Reading, Tilehurst, Caversham, Henley-on-Thames, Bracknell and Ascot.

Lucy will be joined by local Choir Member Stacey Stockwell who will help to lead the session at 4pm.

The theme this week is 'This is Me’ and singers will have the chance to learn the ‘Greatest Showman’ hit in sign language.

As well as committing to their normal virtual 12-week summer rehearsal schedule, Rock Choir encouraged the public to join them daily (via their Facebook page) and sing a feel-good contemporary well-known song every day.

Rock Choir members also reached out to their family, friends and neighbours encouraging them all to become part of a much bigger community of support.

Due to the relaxing of lockdown rules and after 106 days, the Rock Choir Team has decided to re-fresh the Facebook interactive experience and introduce, ‘Ready for the weekend with Rock Choir’.

A weekly fun, engaging and interactive session which will take place each Friday led by different Rock Choir Leaders alternating on Facebook to provide an up-beat themed singing and music event each week.
