The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government's mass testing programme.

The rate of infection in Buckinghamshire now stands at 322.9 cases per 100,000 people, far lower than the England average of 468.2.

Elsewhere in Slough, there are now a total of 669 confirmed cases.

The rate of infection in Slough currently stands at 448.7.

In Windsor and Maidenhead there are a total of 420 confirmed cases, with the Royal Borough having a much lower rate of infection (278.3)

In Oxfordshire there are 3,244 cases and in Hertfordshire there are 4,280.
