Bucks Fire and Rescue responded to two suspected arson attacks in just over an hour and a half last night.

At around 12.14am last night, the fire service responded to a report of a car fire in Whaddon Road, Calverton, Milton Keynes.

One fire engine responded and the crew used two hose reels and one set of breathing apparatus as they extinguished the blaze.

Then, at around 1.46am this morning, Bucks Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a van on fire in Victoria Crescent, Iver.

One engine and crew from Langley and an officer attended the scene.

Firefighters used one hose reel and one set of breathing apparatus as they extinguished the fire.

There isn't currently any indication that the fires are linked.
