CORAL Reef could be set to get an exciting new addition.
Early plans for a new splash pad at the Waterworld have been revealed.
A splash pad is a recreation area for water play that has little or no standing water.

A Bracknell Forest Council (BFC) spokesperson said the pad "will supplement the existing structures in Coral Reef, broadening the activities available for younger children."
According to a new spending proposal listed on BFC's website, section 106 money will be used to build the new pad.

Section 106 money is cash contributed to the council by developers.
BFC’s culture and delivery boss, councillor John Harrison, is set to make a final decision on the proposal by Thursday, August 20.

Coral Reef has been closed since lockdown began in March.
Run by Everyone Active, Coral Reef will remain closed while the leisure operators continue work to ensure a safe re-opening in line with Government guidance.
Bracknell Leisure Centre re-opened last week.
