The following cases appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court:

July 8

KYLE BENFELL, 26, of Ian Mikardo Way, Reading, admitted possession of an offensive weapon in public, namely a knuckle duster in Island Road. Also admitted possession of class B drug cannabis in Reading on May 29, 2020, and admitted possession of a class A drug cocaine in Reading on May 29, 2020. Fined £220. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

BENJAMIN DOBSON, 42, of Russell Street, Reading, admitted two charges of stealing one Justine dining chairs worth £195 from Beadle Crome Interiors in Reading on December 28, 2019. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £390 compensation.

LOUIS JARVIS, 30, of Reading, admitted criminal damage to a heater at Zero Degrees, Reading, on February 23, 2020. also admitted using threatening or abusive words of behaviour likely to cause harm or distress in Reading on February 23, 2020. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £100 compensation. Must pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

LILLY BLACK, 34, of Bath Road, Speen near Newbury, admitted entering closed premises in Edinburgh Road, Reading in contravention of a closure order on June 5, 2020. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge.

ANTHONY WILLIAMS, 34, of Talbot Close, Newbury, admitted drink-driving in Bartholemew Street, Newbury, on December 28, 2019. Found to have 81mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £120 victim surcharge and £40 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.

July 10:

SARAH HOOD, 29, of Inglewood Court, Reading, admitted drink-driving at Black Boy Roundabout in Reading, on May 20, 2020. Found to have 110mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Also admitted being the driver of a vehicle that failed to stop after an accident on the Black Boy Roundabout on May 20, 2020. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and ordered to undertake 80 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £200 compensation. Disqualified from driving for 24 months.

ANTHONY REEVES, 56, of Cowslip Crescent, Thatcham in West Berkshire, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when driving in Reading on April 13, 2020. Fined £250. Also ordered to pay £32 victims surcharge and £85 court costs. disqualified from driving for 12 months.

July 11:

DEAN ELLIS, 37, of Station Road, Pangbourne, admitted drug-driving in Oxford Road, Reading, on December 1, 2019. Found to have cocaine in his system. Fined £200. Also ordered to pay £32 victims surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JONNY ORWIN, 27, of Love Lane, Newbury in West Berkshire, admitted drink-driving on the B4009, Newbury, on February 23, 2020. Found to have 69mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £500. Also ordered to pay £50 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

NATHANIAL CURTIS, 24, of Queen's Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Old Bath Road, Speen near Newbury, on May 19, 2020. Found to have 78mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £240. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.
