The following cases appeared at Reading Magistrates' Court.

July 6:

ANDREW HADWICK, 39, of Tymawr in Caversham, admitted stealing £70 worth of bottles of Bombay Gin, Jagermeister, and Jameson Whisky from Tesco in Reading on September 13, 2019. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months. Also ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

HOLLYWOOD WILKIE, 35, of Kensington Road, Reading, admitted driving while disqualified in Sidmouth Street, Reading, on December 1, 2019. Also admitted using a vehicle without the correct insurance in Sidmouth Street, Reading, on December 1, 2019. Given a community order to comply with 200 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 22 months.

BAYLEY LEWIS, 19, of Garston Crescent, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on May 28, 2019, May 30, 2019, June 4, 2019, and June 5, 2019. Community order revised to include rehabilitation activity, and 60 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

RUFUS JOSEPH, 55, of no fixed abode, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a suspended sentence order by not attending unpaid work on February 14, 2020, and February 21, 2020. Given a suspended sentence of 12 weeks in prison suspended for 18months due to change in personal circumstances. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

July 7:

LLOYD SAMUELS, 45, of Arthur Place, Reading, admitted being the driver of a Audi A3 that failed to stop in Tilehurst Road when required to by a police constable in uniform on November 6, 2019. Fined £80 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge.

RHYS LEWENDON-KIRKWOOD, 24, of Sage Croft Road, in Thatcham, West Berkshire, admitted assault by beating in Thatcham on March 17, 2020. Given a community order to comply with 60 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £200 court costs.

July 8:

LIAN BORECKI, 22, of Holberton Road, Reading, admitted assault by beating in Reading on March 8, 2020. Also admitted two charges of fraud by false representation in Reading on May 19, 2020, by using someone else's bank card to cause loss to another, and admitted theft of a vehicle having stolen a Kimko moped worth £900 in Reading on July 28, 2019. Also admitted handling stolen goods namely a debit card belonging to someone else knowing or believing it to be stolen. Sentenced to 12 weeks in prison due to severity of offence due to previous record. Ordered to pay £75 compensation. Must also pay £115 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

JOHN WRIGHT, 30, of Margaret Close, Reading, admitted stalking which amounted to harassment of the victim with numerous calls, texts, accessing victim's social media, and attending their property between January 1, 2020, and February 11, 2020. Sentenced to 12 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months due to severity of offence. Made subject to a restraining order. Also ordered to pay £122 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
