A MOUNTAIN bike has been stolen from a home in Reading after a thief entered the property through the porch.
The offender entered the home on Russell Street between 12am and 9 am on Saturday morning (July 11) and stole a mountain bike.
Thames Valley Police said the thief entered the house through a communal porch area which may have been left insecure.

The force said: “Please report any suspicious incidents, sightings or any information to The Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101, also please check your CCTV cameras, Ringcam or Dashcam.”
It added: “Please register your valuables at www.immobilise.com and encourage friends, family or neighbours to receive this type of message by registering at www.thamesvalleyalert.co.uk.”
