THIS young resident has been busy selling pencils to residents in order to raise funds for a hospice charity, raising more than £500 so far.
Sebastian Sly, aged seven years and from Earley, has successfully raised more than £580 for the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, by selling personalised pencils to residents nearby.

Mum, Tiffany, praised her son’s fundraising activities: “We are so proud of him that he took the initiative to raise some money for charity and thought of such a successful way of doing so.
“Everyone has been so engaging and keen to support the charity and we couldn’t thank them more.”

Master Sly has successfully sold more than 300 pencils, using a fishing net to make transactions while social distancing.
Alexander Devine Fundraising Manager, Harjit Bola, said: “Thank you so much to Sebastian for all his hard work.”
