Welcome to this week’s Oswestry Advertizer Camera Club and a big thanks to everyone who has sent their pictures.

Can we ask a favour though? if you’re sending in a picture of something that needs a description, please do tell us so we don’t get anything wrong. You are quick to tell us when we are.

Starting top left we have Paul Meakin’s dramatic birds with an operatic feel while below it is Wendy Clough Jones’s picture of a feathered friend feeding.

Then it’s a David Walker double-header with an outstanding shot of the Milky Way over Powys and then over the page, this amazing shot of a sunset this week – well worth a double.

Next is Jan Gilchrist’s view of Rhiwlas while below that we have Alun Williams’s shot of his walk from Chirk to Weston Rhyn and to finish the column, Mary Morgan’s peaceful stroll around Colemere.

Next is Lady again, from Hannah Edmonson, and one can only wonder what she’s contemplating here...’sleep? bark/ run? roll over?’

Jenna Parry has caught a close-up of a Whitting cygnet while to finish the page is Michael Cole’ s male kingfisher in Maesbury.

Andrew Moz is showing off the delights of Cae Glas Park while John Barrett got up close and personal with a spider.

These guys, pictured by Linda McGowan are absolutely ‘quackers’.

Yeah, we went there and we liked it but judging by the expression on this swallow, caught by Paul Meakin, they not so much.
