RESIDENTS are welcoming a new vicar to this church in Earley.
Rev’d April Beckerleg officially took on the role at St Nicolas Church, Sutcliffe Avenue, Earley, on July 1.

Emma Major, Lay minister said: “St Nicolas’ Church Earley has a new vicar!
“April is delighted to be at St Nicolas, and is excited to get to know the congregation and the wider parish of Earley St Nicolas. Diversity and inclusivity are close to April’s heart, as well as a concern for creation.”

Rev'd Beckerleg explained her interpretation of the church's motto 'Open to God, Open to each other, Open to the community' as: "Participating in God’s love for all people, and the whole of creation is the key to becoming all we are meant to be."
