READING is one of the most sought-after locations in the south east for housing.

The Sunday Times listed the town as the number one place for first time buyers in 2019.

But houses don't come cheap.

According to house buying site Zoopla, these are Reading's most expensive streets.

2. Mill Lane, Kidmore End, Reading RG4. Average price: £1,971,404

3. Henley Road, Wargrave, Reading RG10. Average price: £1,819,923

4. Collins End, Goring Heath, Reading RG8. Average price: £1,782,160

5. Loddon Drive, Wargrave, Reading RG10. Average price: £1,730,479

Zoopla also revealed the highest turnover streets, which are:

1. Massachusetts Place, Reading RG2, 100.0 per cent

2. New Hampshire Street, Reading RG2, 92.3 per cent

3. Champlain Street, Reading RG2 85.4 per cent

4. Brian Dowding Court, Tilehurst, Reading RG31, 81.8 per cent

5. Maine Street, Reading RG2, 80.6 per cent
