AS we head into another weekend of lockdown, more and more of us will be missing some of our favourite restaurants.

However, since the lockdown measures were relaxed across the UK, a number of restaurants have reopened for online collections and takeaways only.

Some restaurants have transformed themselves to be able to serve their hungry community, so we have had a look at which restaurants have reopened in Bracknell Forest.

There are also some restaurants which have proven popular within a 10 mile radius.

1. The Yorkshire Rose

Bracknell News:

Who doesn't love a roast dinner from the comfort of your own home? And it is even better when you don't have to cook it.

This traditional little pub in Warfield has helped people smile during the Covid-19 lockdown. They serve the roast dinner in a foil box to ensure they stay hot.

One person said:"We decided to get a takeaway roast from The Yorkshire Rose today - it was fantastic!! Loads of food and they even created a veggie version for me with no meat, veggie gravy and extra sides. They’ve always been so nice to us when we have visited. Very highly recommended!"

KFC Bracknell

Bracknell News:

If you're missing a bit of Kentucky fried chicken, then look no further as the chain restaurant has reopened for delivery only.

The first day of opening proved to be really busy with many people ordering online deliveries through Uber Eats and Deliveroo.

PAN restaurant, Wokingham

Bracknell News:

Asian inspired cooking with a new menu devised each week, Pan restaurant in Wokingham truly does deliver (no pun intended).

The local restaurant has a tasty variety of dishes and leaves people looking forward to visiting the restaurant once it reopens.

One person on Tripadvisor said: "We have been meaning to visit Pan for a while and took the opportunity to "eat out" with a take-away last night. The food was beautifully cooked with both the duck and chicken really succulent and juicy. All flavours of all the dishes were tremendous, very well balanced and bold. Every dish left its own special memories but I couldn't not mention the harissa which was sweet to start, followed by rose and then then chilli kick, and I have never tasted such wonderful hummus and baba ghanoush. We will certainly be ording again and look forward to the time when we can eat at the restaurant. Please carry on doing what you are doing and we wish you every success."

La Sorrentina, Sunninghill

Bracknell News:

If the lockdown doesn't prove to be the best time to support local businesses, then when is it? Especially when La Sorrentina are providing free food for the NHS frontline staff.

From authentic pastas to traditional pizzas, this lovely little restaurant is currently open for takeaway collections.

One reviewer said: "We had a delicious pizza from here and a tricolor salad last week. They are a lovely couple who own it and are giving food to people on the frontline, so generous.

Highly recommend ordering from here. We are getting food tonight for our anniversary too."

Great Wall Chinese Takeaway

Bracknell News:

This has been rated as Bracknell's best Chinese takeaway in a News story we published last year.

So far, it has lived up to its standards and is available for takeaway.

One person said: "Fancied a Chinese takeaway tonight, so after seeing a lot of recommendations on this site previously, I decided to try The Great Wall in Harmans Water. Have to say was one of the nicest I have had in a long time."
