The market is set to re-open on Wednesday, June 3, and will be open from then every Wednesday after.
Mr Fennelly added: "We've decided to allow the artisan market to re-open, following the latest government advice, which is allowing shops to re-open from June 1, with social distancing.
"The market usually has between eight and 10 market stalls, and we've invited all of the regular faces back but we're always open for more."
