1. Lily Hill Park

Bracknell News:

Unsurprisingly Lily Hill Park tops the ranks with reviewers on Trip Advisor as a Green Flag Award winning 23-hectare public open space not far from the town centre.

Scores of reviewers online have meant the attraction is rated 4.5 stars out of 5.

One recent reviewer said: A beautiful walk. It isn't a huge park, but it's very pretty and has lots of places to explore.

"We grabbed a coffee and sandwich at the food van in the car park, family run I believe? Very tasty and friendly!"

Another added: "A lovely place to walk through, wooded area's with pathways carved through them. Beautiful weather made it a truly lovely day. The park is clean and well looked after."

2. Westmorland Park

Bracknell News:

Coming in at second best park in the area, according to Trip Advisor reviews, is Westmorland Park just slightly further away in Warfield.

Prior to lockdown, one person commented: "Westmorland Park is within walking distance of where I live and I visit there often. However if it's not close to you, don't worry, there is plenty of free parking.

"Westmorland has something for everyone. Children's play areas, slopes for children to climb and more gentle walks around the lake (enquire about fishing if that's your thing); follow the wood carving trail. Picnic chairs and tables if required. Light and shade given by trees and open areas and a small sports centre for the more active, including tennis courts. A great place to go for walkers, families and dog walkers alike."

Situated just off Wildridings Road, this little beaut spot comes in third place for reviewers on Trip Advisor.

It is ranked with three stars out of five, and one reviewers said: "Was out and about exploring the area by foot, when I stumbled upon this park. It's not very big but, it is a good place to observe geese, ducks and pond-life in general."

Another added: "In the middle of Mill Park, Bracknell, there is a large pond with many attractions. It is home to a number of water birds and it is teeming with fish. There are secure wooden walkways round much of the pond's edge and licensed fishing is possible.

"There is a path round the pond, which meanders through a variety of park terrain; open parkland, trees, bushes and rushes."
