WITH coronavirus spoiling everyone's fun by cancelling a lot of this year's various events, we've compiled a list of events still going on across Berkshire this year.

1. Are You Listening? Festival, Reading

Are You Listening? Music Festival, taking place in venues all across Reading, is an award-winning charity music event that is revered by musicians and music event-goers across the borough.

For it's eighth year running, Are You Listening? (AYL?) will feature hot new bands such as Deva St John, Doops, Elucidate, Keep Cats, Mellor, as well as some classic DJ sets such as John Robb, John Kennedy, and

The event, originally meant to be taking place on April 25, has now been rescheduled to October 10.

The festival will be spread across various venues on the day - see what's playing Milk Reading, Oakford Social Club, Purple Turtle, The Rising Sun Arts Centre (14+), Saint Laurence, Reading, South Street Arts Centre (14+), SUB89 (14+ / under 16 w/ an adult), and Upstage Mini The Roseate Hotel.

2. Countryfile Live, Windsor

This event, taking place in Windsor Great Park, promises to be a fun event for all those taking part.

From August 20 - 23, activities such as timber-sports championships, an open theatre, a pub garden more will be available to sumer-time revellers.

The show was originally intended to take place at Castle Howard, North Yorkshire, from August 6 - 9, however the change of plans has now meant the nature show has come to Berkshire.

3. Reading Festival, Reading

Previously described as 'A rite of passage for British teenagers', Reading and Leeds Festival as shown no signs of stopping their fun.

The event, taking place across the summer bank holiday (August 28-30) in Richfield Avenue, Reading, offers a thrilling line-up of music acts such as Stormzy, Liam Gallagher and Rage Against The Machine, as well as stand-up shows, silent discos, fairground rides and much more.

4. Reading Comic-Con 2020, Reading

For the fifth year running, Reading 'Comic-Con' fails to disappoint.

Cosplays of characters from all corners of the fantasy, superhero and sci-fi world can be spotted at this event, taking place on November 21-22.

The child-friendly event offers a cosplay zone, a gaming zone, TV and Film guests, comic artists and more to fill your heart's content.

5. Berkshire Sausage and Cider Festival, Maidenhead

For the first time ever, the Sausage and Cider Festival arrives in Berkshire this year, planning to celebrate all that's good about its namesake.

This event, taking place at Magnet Leisure Centre, Holmanleaze, Maidenhead, on September 12, will have - you guessed it - sausages and cider in store, but so much more, including Live bands, DJ's, eating contests, and more.
