The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

February 20:

ALFRED OKOLONJI, 60 of Prospect Street, Reading, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis as a vehicle driver asked to do so by police in Loddon Valley on February 6, 2020. Also admitted using a vehicle in Old Wokingham Road, Crowthorne without the correct insurance or licence on February 6, 2020. Fined £250 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

ESME EARLE-WALLER, 20, of Sycamore Rise, Newbury, admitted speeding in Longwater Road, Finchampstead, on March 28, 2019. Found to be doing 41mph in the 30mph road. Fined £300 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Must also pay £85 court costs.

DANIEL LILLIS, 34, of Cranbury Road, Reading, admitted breaching a non-molestation order in Reading on September 20, 2019, and on October 4, 2019 in Reading. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Also fined £150 and ordered to pay £150 compensation. Must also pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

KIERON EVANS, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing £199.95 worth of goods from Sainsbury's in Newbury on February 5, 2020. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must undertake 100 hours of unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £300 compensation.

CHRISTOPHER PHIPPS, 38, of Westons in Thatcham , West Berkshire, convicted of stealing chocolate worth £43.50 from Sainsbury's on May 21, 2019, in Thatcham. Also convicted of an offence while subject to a community order made for the original offence of three thefts from a shop. Sentenced to 14 weeks in prison as defendant has a 'flagrant disregard for court orders'. Also ordered to pay £43.50 compensation and £115 victim surcharge.

February 21:

RICKY RYAN, 34, of no fixed abode, admitted stealing meat to the value of £84.50 from the Co-op in Theale on January 6, 2020. Also admitted stealing meat worth £95.50 from the Co-op in Theale on January 6, 2020. Also admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending rehabilitation appointments on January 7, 2020, January 23, 2020, and January 28, 2020. Original offence that resulted in a community order being imposed include 12 theft charges and one assault by beating charge. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity. Also ordered to pay £180 compensation.

JAMAINE BOSWELL, 39, of Whitley Wood Road, Reading, convicted of travelling on a Great Western Railway Service in Maidenhead without having paid the £6.70 train fare on August 17, 2019. Fined £220 and ordered to pay £6.70 compensation. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £160 court costs.
