EVERY UK mobile phone network is sending out text messages to remind people of the new government's new lockdown measures.

After the announcement of a shutdown last night, the gov.uk text messages warning people to stay at home.
The text, which has been received by many mobile phone users already this morning, says:
"GOV.UK CORONAVIRUS ALERT New rules in force now: you must stay at home. More info & exemptions at gov.uk/coronavirus Stay at home. Protect the NHS. Save lives."

The texts will be sent throughout the day.
The government has had to work with each network operator to send them messages out.
