AMID coronavirus chaos, many local breweries, cafes and restaurants are expanding their services to provide local deliveries.

The Chronicle is supporting local businesses during this unstable time, and have provided a list below of local places that need the support of the community.

  • The Greyhound at Tidmarsh - open for takeaways. Offering 10 per cent discount for takeaways, 20 per cent discount per item if you can provide your own container and 20 per cent discount for all NHS & emergency staff
  • Pau Brasil, Mount Pleasant - now trading just for takeaways 11.30am - 5pm and clsoed on Mondays. Three people in at one time

  • Nylon Hair Artists, Duke Street, have remained open and are sanitising after each and every client as well as continuously sanitising handles, all areas and stream cleaning every day 
  • Favourite Chicken & Pizza, St Mary's Butts (Open Sunday to Thursday 11am to midnight, and Friday/Saturday 11am to 2am.) Walk in or collect 07776 962154, plus on Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just eat
  • Flemings sandwich bar and cafe, Wood Lane, Sonning Common. The cafe has now closed but the business is open for takeaway baguettes, sandiwhces, teas and coffees. Reduced hours will be in place, from 7.45 - 2pm, with last hot food at 1.45pm. The cafe has asked people to keep social distancing in place, with only two people in the shop at any time
