THE usually-bustling train station in Reading seems unrecognisable today (March 19) as commuters have given up travelling in order to work from home following government calls to escalate social distancing.

Pictures show an almost completely empty station during the usual morning rush hour, echoing scenes from across the country as more people and businesses opt to implement a self isolation procedure.
