THE TRIAL of a hospital worker accused of sexual activity with a person with a mental disorder has been suspended over coronavirus fears.

Eric Kusi, of Norwood Road, Reading, appeared in Reading Crown Court last week facing six charges of sexual activity with a person with a mental disorder.

However, the trial has now been rescheduled to April 17 after Kusi's defence barrister started feeling unwell last week.

He said: "Mr Harrison went to see the GP on the Friday at 4pm after he felt he had a high temperature and breathing difficulties, he was advised to self-isolate."

Mr Kusi denies all six charges.

The trial has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 17.
