A LANE on the M4 is closed between Theale and Chieveley.
Highways England tweeted to explain lane one is closed "due to a defect in the carriageway" between junction 12 (Theale) and junction 13 (Chieveley).

The tweet said: "Traffic officers and contractors are on scene."
Drivers are being asked to approach with caution.
