A JUNIOR school which shut last week after a teacher tested positive for coronavirus has now reopened.

Willow Bank Junior School in Woodley, Wokingham closed the school for a deep clean on Saturday, February 29.

A staff member at the school had tested positive for the virus now called Covid 19.

The school has confirmed today that it has now reopened.

Richard Dolinski, Independent councillor for Wokingham Borough Council, posted on Facebook explaining he has been receiving daily local updates, yesterday.

He said: "‎As things stand there have been no further confirmed cases in the borough and the contact tracking for the confirmed case is now complete."

Willow Bank Infant School remains closed until next Wednesday, March 11.

Since the closure was announced, Aldryngton Primary School in Earley, issued a letter to parents detailing how the school will be closed for a 'deep clean'.

The school reopened on Tuesday.

Great Hollands Primary School in Bracknell remains closed for a precautionary clean and will be reopened, it said on its school website.
