A TEENAGER is being treated in hospital after he was attacked with a pole on the head.

At about 8pm on Tuesday, March 3, a teenage boy was attacked by two men on bikes.

The attack happened in Crescent Road in Reading where the two men hit and kicked him repeatedly.

Police believe they used a pole as a weapon which caused the victim a serious head injury.

The teenage boy remains in hospital where he is treated for serious head injuries.

He is a in a stable condition.

A 15-year-old boy from Wokingham has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and is still in custody.

The two attackers are described as having an athletic build and wore dark clothing.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Larissa Pinder of Reading police station, said: “We would like to speak to anyone with information with regards to this incident.

“There would have been a number of vehicles and pedestrians in the area at the time so we would like to speak to anyone who may have seen something.
